With all this autumnal weather we've been having, I thought I could jump the gun a little and post a recipe concerning one of my favorite desserts to make
super easy, delicious!
APPLE CRUMBLE
Ingredients:
Stick of butter (The butter it should be kinda soft, but not mushy.)
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup White Sugar
TBS of cinnamon
1/2 Cup Flour
about 5 crispy apples
A squirt of Lemon Juice
2 TBS of Apple Cider
First do this-
Fill a bowl with water and a squirt of lemon juice.
Peel apples, and cut them into nice little slices.
As you cut each apple, throw them in the lemon juice bowl. (The lemon juice helps them from going brown- see? Clever!)
Add the white sugar
When all the apples are cut up, drain the water. Dump the cup of white sugar, cinnamon and apple cider in with the apples. Mix it up
Next-
Take the stick of butter- unwrap. Hold it like a crayon and cover a pie dish with a nice smear of butter.
Dump the apple mixture into the pie dish
Now we- Take the flour, rest of the butter, brown sugar and throw that in a bowl. Mix it using your fingers. You're going to want to have crumb kind of texture going on. Don't over mix it! Once it's nice and crumbly, spread it evenly over the apple mixture in the pie dish.
Bake at 350 for about 35 mins! And Yummm!!
